The Art of Influence is committed to being a meaningful creative outlet for the staff and special guests of Top Drawer Creative. Here are some profiles we want to share with you so you can learn a little something about the creators!
AMANDA PUI - MEDIA PLANNER/ILLUSTRATOR
Amanda grew up in Toronto and loves exploring new areas of the city. "Toronto is a great city for trying different foods, checking out new music and galleries, and – when the weather is nice – spending an afternoon in Trinity Bellwoods Park,” she says. Most of her illustrations are products of her environment: diverse and colourful.
Creator of Toronto Collection (coming soon)
RACHAEL MUIR - CREATIVE DIRECTOR/GRAPHIC DESIGNER
I like seeing new places, taking myself slightly out of my comfort zone (mostly if it's not planned too well). I like the surprise that it can bring – shattering one’s preconceptions and, more importantly, misconceptions (it's uncomfortable, but opens up a whole new world).
BRIAN GAHAN - CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER/VP CREATIVE/PHOTOGRAPHER
Whether it is making someone laugh or cry, or helping them make a decision, I am always inspired to raise the bar on how we communicate and to help others do good in the world.
EMMA BEDELLE - GRAPHIC DESIGNER/STIPPLER
Bio coming soon...
Creator of Church
JOSH MCINERNEY- GUEST CONTRIBUTOR/
Creative Director / Partner, Modu
Josh was a Top Drawer employee many moons ago and is currently heading up his own design business. Bad Ads Kill was something he developed while working with us. Now we finally get to expose it to the world!
Creator of Bad Ads Kill
LAURA TARPAY - EA & DIRECTOR OF HR/PAINTER
Laura enjoys playing beach volleyball, rollerblading, spending time with my family, and most recently aerial silks. However, my biggest passion outside of work would be traveling and exploring different parts of the world. She also loves to paint.
Creator of Copper Transitions
LUKE HAMILTON - DESIGNER/ILLUSTRATOR
Art has been my passion since childhood. I have always enjoyed drawing and painting, and in recent years have branched out into creating digital art. Some of my unrelated hobbies include training martial arts, playing guitar, and learning about this crazy world we all share.
Creator of Shark meets Octopus
PATTY LOWRY - COPY WRITER/ARTIST
I like to get lost, wander aimlessly and discover beauty in the broken bits of life. Little pieces, a glimpse of what once was and in turn, what it can become. It inspires me to reconfigure, recreate how I look at the world and see all its possibilities.
Creator of Critter Collection
DAVID DANG - ILLUSTRATOR AND DIGITAL ARTIST
I love to create, and I am fortunate to work in an industry where I can apply my passion for the visual arts in exciting ways, to challenge myself and others to see the world from new perspectives. Some of my interests include illustration, photography and creative writing.
ROY ALBION - GRAPHIC DESIGNER/GOLF LOVER
When not working, Roy like to chase a little white ball around a golf course up north with family and friends at the cottage. Therefore a lot of his creatively revolves around that!
Creator of cool t-shirt art
KATHY MCKLAY - VP CLIENT SERVICES
Aside from being involved with Children's Aid as a mentor/friend to disadvantaged children – which is greatly fulfilling – Kathy loves spending time with family and friends and watching her six nieces and nephews grow up. She also enjoys baking gluten-free treats (successfully!). Kathy aspires to live life in the moment – except, of course, when she’s busy planning her next big adventure.
Creator of mezzotint cards
